Background...

ECA Plastics was formed in 1996 as a means of creating mass prison employment.
Inmates were employed in a factory environment to clean and refine waste plastic
packaging for recycling in two plants located in Norfolk and Suffolk. 

In year 2000 we processed 870 tonnes of plastic packaging waste and employed a
total of some 1080 inmates over a 7 year period.
 

Today...

ECA Plastics (ECAP) is a focussed business  for plastic waste collection and
haulage to recycling.  We are not a general waste management company.
